Overview
The Hydraflow C is a compact clamp-on ultrasonic flow and BTU meter for measuring water and other clean liquids in closed pipes from DN15 to DN40, making it well suited to residential and light commercial buildings, district cooling sub-metering and MEP retrofit work. Because the transducers clamp onto the outside of the pipe, you measure flow with no pipe cutting, no welds and no process shutdown.
Built on transit-time ultrasonic measurement, the Hydraflow C delivers ±1% accuracy with a 0.5-second response time and a low-velocity cut-off of 0.1 m/s for stable readings at light loads. The 256×128 LCD, 4 to 20 mA output and Modbus RS485 communication (with optional pulse output) let you read flow locally and feed it straight into a BMS or energy-management platform.
Powered from 10 to 24 V DC at under 3 W, the meter carries an IP65 enclosure and operates across an ambient range of −10°C to 60°C, with built-in reverse-polarity, surge and output short-circuit protection for reliable service in mechanical rooms and plant spaces.
