Overview
The Hydrasonic UWM-II Threaded is a static ultrasonic water meter for residential and commercial clean-water metering, using transit-time measurement to capture consumption accurately from a 2 l/h start flow so utilities account for every drop. Available in DN15, DN20 and DN25 with Q3 ratings of 2.5, 4 and 6.3 m³/h, it is supplied as standard at metrological class R400 and OIML accuracy Class 2.
With no moving parts to wear or foul, this smart water meter sustains its accuracy across long deployments and carries an IP68 rating for pit and flooded-chamber installation, plus a PN16 pressure rating and an operating range of -15°C to +55°C. Leak and burst alarms, on-board logging and a compact threaded body make it ready for retrofit AMI rollouts.
M-Bus communication is standard, with RS485, pulse, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT and Sigfox available as options to fit smart-metering and AMI programs worldwide. Battery life is 8 years standard, extendable to 10 years, with one year of daily data and 24 months of historical data held in non-volatile EEPROM.
