About this product

Overview

The Hydramag is an electromagnetic meter for electrically conductive liquids (water, wastewater, chilled water and process media) with a conductivity of 20 µS/cm or higher. Configured as a flow meter it measures bidirectionally across DN 4 to DN 800 with accuracy to ±0.5% of reading (±0.25% on request); configured as a thermal energy (BTU) meter it adds heating and cooling energy measurement for large-bore district heating and cooling mains (DN 10 to DN 600). With no moving parts it holds accuracy over years of service and adds negligible pressure loss.

A wide choice of liners (hard/soft rubber, PTFE, PVDF, Rilsan, ETFE, PFA, ceramics) and electrodes (stainless steel 1.4571, Hastelloy C4, titanium, tantalum) match the meter to the process fluid; IP65 / IP67 / IP68 protection suits buried, flooded or outdoor installations; and a 350° swivel display keeps readings clear in any mounting position. Integration into M-Bus, Modbus and SCADA networks is via pulse, 4-20 mA, RS-485 (Modbus / M-Bus), M-Bus, HART* or microSD* outputs.
