Overview
The ELCM-3P is an STS-compliant, keypad-type three-phase electricity meter built for prepaid and revenue-protection programs across utilities and AMI deployments. Customers recharge by entering a 20-digit token on the integrated keypad and check status through short codes shown on the LCD, removing the need for physical billing visits.
Anti-tamper design, including a terminal-cover open-detection sensor, protects utility revenue, while an optional communication module links the meter to a data concentrator for smart-metering rollouts. The meter operates at a nominal 3 x 230 V across a 70%-120% Un working range and 50-60 Hz, with a basic current of 10 A and a maximum of 100 A.
Active energy is measured to Class 1.0 and reactive energy to Class 2.0, with a starting current of 30 mA and a 400 imp/kWh constant. The meter carries an IP54 protection class and Class II protection degree, with battery backup rated for a lifetime of up to 8 years to preserve data and clock through outages.
