Overview
The Data Logger is a DIN-rail data concentrator for utilities, district cooling and heating operators, and facilities managers who need to retrieve, store, and forward metering data without manual visits. It reads connected metering devices, archives the records, and transfers results to a central data collection and management system.
It connects to field devices over RS232, RS485, and M-Bus/CL, and backhauls data via GPRS or Ethernet. Digital and analogue inputs let it monitor pressure and temperature sensors alongside meter data, while digital outputs and event reporting support alarms and control. Onboard 512 kB Flash (about 4,500 records) can be expanded with a miniSD card, and an optional backup battery protects data during power loss.
Remote configuration and software updates keep deployed units current without site access, and standard DIN-rail mounting suits metering cabinets and substations.
