Overview
The Hydraflow P is a portable clamp-on ultrasonic flow and BTU meter for spot checks, surveys, commissioning and verification across pipes from DN25 to DN1200. It lets MEP contractors, utilities and energy auditors take accurate flow readings on almost any pipe without interrupting the process, then move on to the next measurement point.
The meter reads bidirectional flow from ±0.01 m/s to ±12 m/s (±0.03 to ±40 ft/s) at ±1% of reading with 0.2% repeatability, and works on any sonic-conducting pipe material (carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, HDPE, GRE, GRP) carrying liquids with under 15% solids. Two PT1000 RTD inputs on the energy version add heating and cooling BTU measurement, while a 16 GB SD card datalogger captures readings for later analysis.
A rechargeable 3000 mAh lithium battery gives up to 16 hours of continuous operation, and the rugged IP65 carry case pairs with IP68 encapsulated transducers for field use. Outputs include 4 to 20 mA (max load 750Ω) and Modbus RS485, with transducers rated from −40 to 80°C as standard and to 130°C in the high-temperature version.
