Overview
The SVM-21F is the flanged, large-diameter member of the SVM smart energy valve family, an M-Bus controllable open/close valve for remote flow disconnection on cooling and water mains where the threaded SVM-21E stops short. Sized from DN50 to DN300 and compatible with all M-Bus masters, it suits district cooling risers, building energy control, and utility shut-off points that demand larger bore and higher drive force.
An AC-powered electric actuator (24 VAC, 50/60 Hz, max. 12 VA) drives the valve with 1500 N or 2500 N of thrust depending on model, across a 20/40 mm effective stroke with equal-percentage flow characteristics for modulated cooling control. Integrated software handles monitoring, control, and error reporting over M-Bus, and the actuator carries an IP54 protection level for indoor plant-room mounting.
The valve body is rated to PN16 as standard (PN20/PN25 optional) and built from a cast HT250 body, Q235A cover, and Stainless Steel 304 clack with a PTFE-plus-NBR stem seal for durable service. At 2.4 kg the unit operates across an ambient range of -10 to +50 °C and an operating-medium range of 10 to 90 °C.
